Graham and Robyn Carter are bringing their evil Jag down, the monster that did the 10 foot wheelstand last year. (Wildcat Racing).
Robyn works for one of our major customers, speak to her quite regularly, so she keeps me up to date with whats happening, apart from the feature in Petrolhead last month.
Its going pretty well apparently, did an 8.6 not so long ago I believe ....
Cheers Mike

I'll be there and I might even give the ballast bottle a tryout some people know what Im on about. Rumours and gossip from last weekend, yip I heard that the hellRaiser car, blew its own doors off with excess pressure build up in the cabin, that on deployment of the chutes, which promptly pulled the bracket off the car, it then cooked up the brakes, airborne at some stage and hello gorse and bank, and that it now has a broken/bent input shaft on the lenco not exactly what you want happneing at meremere, wouldn't be so bad if that happened at MMP, atleast youve still got 3/4 of a mile to get everything under control in a chute failure or similar. sort of glad now that they caned the orginal Foxton site, when you look at length issues, of braking area etc, like that when you have a big failure on a high HP car.

And that was the exact reason the site was dumped.

Gidday all, Do any of you have trouble with your tyres slipping on your rims, Im thinking of rim screws but don't like the idea of drilling brand new rims! Any ideas?

Might pay to get a couple of race only rims to drill if youre worried about the new ones, as I'm pretty sure thats what you have to do to eliminate slip, and I dont know of any other quick fixes off the top of my head. Hopefully someone else can shed some more light. Maybee santa will drop a spare set off Justin

Jason, youve confirmed theyre spinning the tyre on the rim ?? use a vivid marker and draw a little line on the rim and tyre, if they move out of allignment, yip your spinning the rim in the tyre.
Fraid to say electric drill, holes and screws is about the only way to solve it. You could maybe try some glueon the bead, but that would be abit rough and make it rather hard to break the bead come tyre change or similar.
Looks like were going to have some fun maybe close racing this season. I too an fixing wheelie bars at presnt, did a measure up, they have to much freeplay and not enough adjustmetn or triangluation by the time all the slops taken up out back, the front is 3ft, want to try and limit that to a foot max.
Fingers crossed for the weather, it certainly sucksarse at the moment.

Hey Jason,
If you are going to the expense of buying a set of race rims to screw then why don't you buy a set of some with bead locks? Presuming your budget will stretch that far!!! Ours are drilled and screwed but now we have the problem of them still slipping and trying their best to snap the screws!!! Ah well such is life!!! ;D

Gate entry for this meeting is $15, just so you all know. Spectators pay for both days, racers pay one gate entry only.
