Nope, at first you will need your civillian liscence and when you enter the racing on the day you will have to buy a sportsman liscence. These are $50 and last for 1 year from date of issue. It covers you with ACC and public liability insurance ect. Your car will be checked over for safety items that you must have but if the car is stock and not modified in any way, it will be a breeze. Then you enter and race. Simple. If it has been modified, you will have some items that may have to be bought up to speck depending on how many mods. you have done. The best idea is to get a rule book and read it. Only $25 and covers alot more of the racing then just your class. Tells you all about the timing system and how to work it to suit your type of racing. Track rules and general regs which all make for interesting reading.
Hope this helps

Hey Bazza, did you come to the track? dumb assed me did not check this thread and your enquiry went un-noticed.
You dont need overall for a street legal car. Just sensible lace up shoes, no bare arms or legs. All cars should have a fire extinguisher with them in the pits(full). All street cars going 12 seconds and slower will run ion super street under the sportsman rules. If you go faster than 12's, you will move up to super sedan. the rules get a bit more involved at this point.

HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TIME SCRUITINEERING IS THIS SATURDAY - THE SITE DOESN'T SAY - SO FOR OUT OF TOWNERS THIS IS A PROBLEM Sorry I missed this post, and yes it's too late now, but anyway, as it says on the advertising poster, entry booth open from 7am to 9am on Saturday. In future we can put it on the site as well.
